R-D.com news: updates!

    A personal message from Sam:

First of all, I have to apologize for my almost-complete neglect of this site. During the past couple of months, there hasn't been much Ryan-related news other than the few tidbits I got from phone conversations, however, within the past week, there has been some great news for Ryan fans including a new music video and more films in the works!
And that means changes for R-D.com as well!
I've finally created a new layout that I like enough to replace this current one. The new layout will definitely be added within the next week so please check back!
Lastly, within the next couple of weeks, I will gradually be revealing more and more changes.
Thanks for visiting the site, and if you have any suggestions, questions, or comments, please don't hesitate to let me know!
    And that reminds me...
All of the messages sent to me through the ryandonowhocom@hotmail.com address were accidentally deleted! This means that I have lost numerous contacts, important e-mails, and visitor-donated photos and fanart. Please feel free to e-mail me at anytime, even if it is just to say "hi" and to get your contact information back into my reach. Thanks, and I apologize for the inconvenience.

R-D.com news: updates!

It's been a while, and R-D.com apologizes for what looks like a complete neglect of R-D.com.
So to make up for it, R-D.com has added new content such as photoshoot images, icons, and fanart!
Also, the R-D.com gallery has had a makeover! It's a much cleaner look and reflects Sam's changing styles and techniques.
... And now a personal message from Sam...

Hey guys! Sorry about the lack of updates, but I've been very busy, and unfortunately, the site was put on hold. But no worries! After my internship ends this week, I'll have a good half a week to finally (and hopefully) put up the new layout; it's about time!
And just a couple of notes because we all know you're not here to hear about me...

- Ryan is back home now after spending 6 weeks in Houston. He was working on a new film. More info to come soon!
- And there's more, but nothing we can talk about it (yes, I'm a tease, sorry!)

That's it for now! Please check back here at R-D.com for more updates (also, please be aware that R-D.com will not post about every update made so you might have to look around!).
Check back within the next week and a half for a new look!

R-D.com news: Updates!

R-D.com has been updated today with new content and pictures. There will also be a constant stream of updates within the next couple of days. Lots of changes have been happening in Ryan Donowho's life, and R-D.com wants to keep up!
Firstly, content pages such as Ryan's biography and Pagoda's story have been changed to reflect the present-day. Also, many icons and other media goodies will be added shortly.
The R-D.com Gallery has also been updated with tons of pictures including some "awww"-worthy ones such as a 5-year-old Ryan!
... And now a personal message from Sam...

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I've touched base with Ryan today so here are a couple of things you might be interested in knowing:

- Ryan has not given up the music aspect of his life! Even though he has officially left Pagoda, there is still his personal album to look forward to. Progress on the album has been delayed slightly, but wil continue!
- Speaking of music, Ryan banged on some more drums last Friday, Feb.4, at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Wish we could have seen him in action!
- Acting-wise, several things have come up for him, but nothing's finalized
- I've taught Ryan how to use a computer so hopefully From Ryan's Mouth will be put into effect again soon!
- Life is good!

That's it for now! Please check back here at R-D.com for more updates (also, please be aware that R-D.com will not post about every update made so you might have to look around!).
    Thanks for visiting R-D.com!

Ryan leaves Pagoda

While PagodaOnline.com brought to our attention the new line-up of the Pagoda band, R-D.com did not want to post a news update about Ryan Donowho's leaving the band until we spoke to Donowho about it.
Donowho did confirm today that he is no longer a part of Pagoda. He also said that he and Pitt remain friends.
Pagoda's self-titled debut album is set to be released on Feb.27, 2007. Donowho's drumming can still be heard on the album.

R-D.com news: Sam's visiting The Big Apple

New York City, here we come!
R-D.com's webmaster and owner, Sam, will be in NY from Jan.14 - Jan.18.
    We're sure you know why...
...The premiere of Doug Aitken's Sleepwalkers which co-stars Ryan Donowho!
Sam hasn't made it a secret that she's going to NY to see the film and hopefully meet up with Donowho.
But what does Sam's trip mean for you?
Several things! First, new pictures of the film, etc. will be added to R-D.com once Sam gets back. Second, if you're in NY during Sam's trip, you can meet her! If you see her around, make sure to say hi! And lastly, Sam's absence means that if there's any Donowho news in the upcoming days, R-D.com will not be updating about it until after Sam gets back. Sorry!
    See you soon!

Behind the Scenes: Sleepwalkers

One of the best parts about filming a movie is the set and location. Exotic beaches, to-die-for cities... and dirt passages in abondoned manholes?
For actor and musician Ryan Donowho's lastest role as a Subway drummer and bicycle messenger in Doug Aitken's Sleepwalkers, the beaches were forgone for a less conventional location.
For one of Donowho's scenes, Aitken and his crew broke into the abandoned 19th-century vault of the Atlantic Avenue tunnel. After climbing down a manhole, crawling across a dirt passage, and lowering themselves down a broken ladder, the crew finally reached their location.
"It was like falling into a new world," Aitken said.
Doug Aitken's Sleepwalkers is a new film which emphasizes the beauty of New York City, its rhythms and its beats and the people who walk the streets. The film will be projected on the exterior of The Museum of Modern Art in the early months of 2007.
It is presented by Creative Time and The Museum of Modern Art from January 16 through February 12. Screenings will be from 5pm to 10pm.
Sleepwalkers features Donowho, Tilda Swinton, Chan Marshall (Cat Power), Donald Sutherland, and Seu Jorge.
For more information, please visit the official site.

R-D.com will be at the MoMA on January 16 to view the film. If you see us, feel free to stop by and say hello!
